It is our main goal to make having to fumigate your home as easy and painless as possible. We completely understand how much time and thought goes into this decision for a number of reasons. We have put together some helpful information for you to review that may just might make your decision a bit easier...
Homeowner direct fumigation - This simply means that a homeowner can call us directly to book a fumigation if you believe or have been told by another termite company that you have termites or beetles. Prior to fumigating the pest does need to be identified by a licensed inspector in order to proceed. If you have a termite report from another company you can simply supply us with a copy of the full report...Be sure to include their Bid and we will guarantee to meet or beat their cost. If you do not have a termite report we will send one of our qualified inspectors out to your home to conduct a FREE limited termite inspection as to identify the pest at which point we can proceed with the fumigation. You can use our 'Free Fumigation Quote' page to send us the necessary information to receive your quote today!
Happy Homeowner Fumigation Packet - The attached pdf file is for you to review. The included paperwork is essentially exactly what we will send out to you, should you choose to fumigate with Van Hooser Enterprises. This will denfinately answer most questions and clarify some concerns that you may have.
Drywood Termites vs. Subterranean Termites - These two types of termites are generally what you will find in your home. Drywood termites can be treated by means of fumigation or if you prefer they can be locally treated as well, you choose the treatment. Subterranean termites can only be treated by local treatment...they generally make their home in the earths surface which we handle by doing a 'drill & treat'. You can click on the above link for more information regarding both types. There are other types of termites, although rarely found in this area.
Wood-boring Beetles - Beetles generally live in very moist conditions. Often times you will find beetles in different types of furniture...antiques as well as other types. We do fumigate homes for beetles much in the same way that we do for termite fumigation. There are two main differences, one being...that beetles require the use of much more gas to get a kill, and two being...it is a 5 day process opposed to a 3 days for termites. If you do require a piece of furniture to be fumigated, you would simply bring it to the office where we have the ability to take care of it for you in an on-site chamber. You can click the link for more information regarding beetles.
Bed Bugs - Are a rising concern in our area. Van Hooser Enterprises can also fumigate for them...either entire homes or apartment buildings or we have had many customers load up their household items into a large truck and transport them to our office where we can do a commodity fumigation on-site in our fumigation chamber. One thought to keep in mind is that if you do a commodity fumigation, and if you are going back to the same home, you could possibly have the infestation still in the home. So just be smart about how what choices you make to take care of these nasty little bugs. Click on the link for more information regarding bed bugs.
Zythor - Zythor is the fumigant that we use to fumigate drywood termites, wood boring beetles and bed bugs. It is very effective and leaves absolutely NO residual residue. Please visit the Zythor website, by clicking on the link above, to answer any questions you may have.
